Oxford instruments OptistatCF™

 

The TPS Spectra 3000 CF is supplied with an Oxford Instruments OptistatCF™ Cryostat and is specifically designed for material physics and condensed matter investigations. It enables THz spectroscopy to be performed on super and semi-conducting materials and other sample types within a range of temperatures from 2.3K to 300K.

Potential experiments can provide insight into:

  • Carrier dynamic
  • Dielectric function
  • Optical conductivity
  • Metal insulator transitions
  • Magneto-resistance
  • Drude modelling
 

Product features:

  • THz transmission measurements on semi-conductors, superconductors and other condensed matter materials
  • Spectral range – 0.06 THz to 4 THz (2 cm-1 – 120 cm-1)
  • Uses a standard Oxford Instruments OptistatCF™ Cryostat. Temperature range 2.3k to 300k (500k capability also available)
  • Rapid and repeatable non-destructive sample testing
  • Fast, reliable and easy to use
  • Spectral analysis software supplied
  • Vacuum or nitrogen purged sample compartment as standard
  • Ambient temperature operation of both the semi-conductor emitter and detector.
